Why Hike Bow Glacier Falls

This popular, relatively easy trail leads to the base of an impressive waterfalls cascading down a rugged cliff. Starting at the historic Num-Ti-Jah Lodge, the hike travels along the north shore of scenic Bow Lake. Beyond the lake the path ascends along the inlet stream and then climbs to and traverses the rim of a narrow gorge. The head of the gorge opens to the gravel flats of a glacial outwash plain and the remains of ancient moraines. Here a boot beaten path leads to the base of impressive Bow Glacier Falls emanating from the Bow Glacier.
